When the summer months are coming to an end, the demand for outdoor furniture decreases as people begin to prepare for the winter.  These stores want to get rid of as much of this furniture as they can at this time so they will usually start to reduce the prices.  However it is possible to pick up some bargains before the summer weather kicks in again.  In spring time, stores start to replace their winter stock with summer stock.  And a lot of the time, they will have some garden furniture left over from the previous year.  To make room for new stock of outdoor furniture, they will often try to sell off what has been left over and will cut the prices.
